UltraSense Systems is looking for a strong Mechanical Engineer. Main responsibilities include integrating UltraSense HMI products across multiple applications from consumer products to automotive field. The candidate will be involved in the entire development process from initial concept through manufacturing and production. Job Description: - Lead product designs for consumer electronics, automotive, and appliances throughout the entire development cycle, from concept to manufacturing. - Focus on the appearance, functionality, and manufacturability of products, creating adaptable parametric surface models. - Utilize commercial finite element software to assess and optimize mechanical structures, enhancing sensor performance through simulation. - Improve user experience with well-executed designs, developing practical Mockups. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Mechanical Engineering, to find innovative solutions, optimize product design, and address design issues. Requirements: - Hold a Master‘s degree or above in a scientific or technical discipline with at least 5 years of mechanical design/simulation experience. - Proficiency in 3D CAD systems and excellent sketching skills are essential. - Familiarity with ABAQUS and ability to build meshes for thermal and structural simulations. Knowledge in other fields is a plus. - Experience in assembly, tolerance analysis, system/product level characterization, and material testing. - Strong conceptualization, creative problem-solving skills, mechanical aptitude, and a basic understanding of various manufacturing processes. - Effectively bilingual in Mandarin and English, with excellent written and spoken communication skills.

UltraSense Systems is looking for an experienced and skilled Automotive Qualification and Reliability Engineering leader. This candidate is responsible for defining, planning, and executing reliability validation activities for electronic modules used in automotive applications. This role ensures that product design and manufacturing processes meet the reliability requirements of automotive OEM and Tier-1 customers, in compliance with AECQ100, ISO16750, and customer-specific standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Develop and execute module-level reliability validation plans (DVP&R) according to customer and industry standards (e.g., AEC-Q100/Q102/Q104, ISO 16750, IEC 60068) 2. Define reliability test matrix, sample size, stress levels, and acceptance criteria based on DFMEA and customer requirements 3. Coordinate design validation (DV) and production validation (PV) test activities with OEM or external testing partners 4. Perform failure analysis (FA) and root cause investigation on failed samples using techniques such as X-ray, SEM/EDX, cross-section, or thermal imaging 5. Collaborate with design, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) for reliability issues 6. Ensure reliability documentation aligns with IATF 16949, APQP, and PPAP requirements. 7. Support customer reliability audits and respond to reliability-related technical questions or findings 8. Track and report reliability metrics, trends, and improvement actions across projects. Qualifications: Bachelor‘s or Master‘s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related field. 3–7 years of experience in reliability, validation, or quality engineering within automotive, electronics, or semiconductor industries. Familiarity with automotive reliability standards such as: AEC-Q100 / Q102 / Q104 ISO 16750 (electrical and environmental stress) LV124, LV214 (for European OEMs) JESD22 series (JEDEC) Hands-on experience with environmental, mechanical, and electrical stress tests, e.g.: Thermal cycling, temperature/humidity bias (THB), vibration, mechanical shock, power cycling, ESD, etc. Knowledge of failure analysis tools and methods. Understanding of DFMEA, DVP&R, APQP, and PPAP processes. Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally and interface with customers. Preferred Skills (Plus): Experience with automotive touch module, display, or camera systems. Knowledge of statistical tools (Minitab, JMP) for reliability data analysis (Weibull, lognormal). Familiar with supplier reliability management and component qualification. Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE) or equivalent certification is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities 1. Production Planning & Scheduling • Develop, maintain, and optimize production plans and master schedules across wafer fabrication and OSAT (assembly & test) partners. • Release work orders and closely track WIP status, cycle time, output vs. plan, and capacity utilization. • Generate short- and mid-term build forecasts, ensuring alignment with customer demand, internal commitments, and capacity constraints. • Proactively analyze supply–demand gaps, identify risks, and drive mitigation actions to prevent material shortages, output shortfall, or shipment delays. 2. Supplier / OSAT Coordination • Own purchase order (PO) creation, release, and invoice coordination in accordance with procurement and finance processes. • Act as the primary planning interface with OSAT and key suppliers, following up on order execution, capacity allocation, cycle time performance, and delivery commitments. • Lead regular operations reviews with suppliers to address bottlenecks, yield or cycle-time excursions, and execution risks. 3. Material Readiness, Logistics & Shipment • Ensure material readiness (wafer, substrate, leadframe, and other critical materials) to support approved production schedules. • Track ETD / ETA for materials and finished goods; work cross-functionally with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal teams to resolve delays or shortages. • Coordinate sample and customer shipments, including shipment arrangement, labeling, and packaging in compliance with customer and quality requirements. 4. Cross-Functional Collaboration • Work closely with Program Management, Quality, Engineering, Finance, and Sales to align build plans, customer priorities, and execution feasibility. • Support new product introduction (NPI), ramp-up, and change management from a planning and material readiness perspective. ________________________________________ Qualifications Required • Bachelor’s degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline. • 5+ years of experience in production planning, material planning, supply chain, or operations management within semiconductor, IC design, or electronics manufacturing environments. • Hands-on experience managing fab and OSAT interfaces, including capacity planning, WIP control, and cycle time management. • Solid understanding of procurement processes, including PO issuance, supplier follow-up, and invoice coordination. • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify risks, and drive execution-oriented solutions. • Proficiency in English: o Able to conduct meetings and discussions with overseas suppliers and partners. o Able to write clear and professional emails, reports, and presentations in English. • Detail-oriented, accountable, and able to work under tight schedules and dynamic priorities.
