Develop automation test tools/fixtures which can be used to test the software/hardware functions (e.g., Media, Navi, BT, Connected services, and vehicle networks) of all of our automotive products. 2. Develop test scripts and execute automation test for system validation, as well as improve validation processes and methodologies. 3. Collaborate closely with Garmin global associates to develop, maintain and enhance automation test tools. 4. Research the new technology and new testing feature / facility, particularly regarding automation and AI technologies for the automotive products. 【Minimum Qualifications】 1. Expertise in one or more of the programming languages C, C++, C#, Python. 2. Experience with one or more of software, firmware, hardware design for automation test. 3. Experience with git, gerrit or SVN. 4. Good English communication skill. 5. Good teamwork ability. 【Preferred Qualifications】 1. Experience with CAN bus/Vector CAPL. 2. Experience with testing fixtures/equipment control. 3. Experience with Image processing or audio processing. 4. Experience in quality assurance for Automotive, AI-related products, or understanding of basic principles and techniques of LLM, NLP, and deep learning, as well as familiarity with common testing metrics.

【JOB DESCRIPTION 】 About IXP (inspire, exploration and prototyping) engineer: • Work with Garmin global team to inspire new concept, exploration and build prototyping to verify its feasibility of design and manufacture for Garmin’s new products bring a better user experience and improve people live. • Contributes to exploration new unique technology to lead vendors to advance key component design implement in Garmin’s new products. • Work with cross-functional teams and external partners to define specification and design, lead the Garmin’s key components and products. • Work with cross-functional teams to validate the stage of design and development to successful production for Garmin’s new products. 【QULIFICATION】 • Bachelor‘s or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. • 3-5 years or more of experience in mechanical design for consumer electronics products. • Knowledge of common materials and manufacturing processes used in consumer electronics mechanical design (e.g., injection molding, sheet metal stamping, machining, die casting) • Experience in Design for Manufacturability, Design for Assembly, statistical tolerance analysis, and geometric tolerancing. • Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., industrial design, electrical engineering, tooling engineer). • Experience in mechanical 3D/2D CAD (e.g., Onshape, SOLIDWORKS, ProE/Creo, NX, Catia). • Demonstrated familiarity with related industry qualification tests (environmental and others) • Able to speak and write in English fluently.

As a key member of the Asia Software Quality team, you will help ensure the smooth execution of data collection tasks during product development. Acting as the primary bridge between internal engineering teams and external test volunteers, you will coordinate product testing, guide subjects through data collection, and support data validation. Your work ensures we capture high quality data to optimize product performance globally. Essential Functions 1. Test Coordination and External Communication -Serve as the primary point of contact for external test volunteers. Responsible for recruiting testers, booking facilities and maintaining test equipment. -Clearly communicate test protocols and device operations to external testers to ensure successful data collection. 2. Data Collection -Independently conduct data collection sessions at off-site locations according to established protocols. -Accurate record test data, identify basic issues during testing and clearly communicate troubleshooting steps or problems to technical teams. 3. Internal Collaboration and Project Administration -Work collaboratively and professionally with internal teams to achieve shared project goals. -Manage daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth internal operations. Required Qualifications 1. Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills 2. Highly detail-oriented and responsible, with proficiency in MS Excel.
