Projects managed by Compal Medical Product Development Division include the following areas: 1.Medical product category 2.Wearable product category 3.Sports, leisure, and entertainment category 4.Smart IoT (Internet of Things) category Firmware Engineer – Key Responsibilities 1.Design -Provide system architecture, perform analysis, and define functional specifications. 2.Implementation -Setup development environment of the embedded systems, including RTOS-based and bare-metal firmware. -Develop, integrate, and maintain bootloader, kernel, GUI, and core firmware functions. -Develop, integrate, and maintain drivers and functions for sensors, motors, and wired/wireless communication. 3.Performance Optimization -Design, implement, and optimize algorithms for system performance. -Define and develop communication protocols. 4.Verification -Create test plans, develop testing tools, and generate detailed test reports. 5.Documentation & Compliance -Prepare and maintain design and technical documentation. -Ensure all processes comply with ISO standards.

1.系統整合測試： 執行Server整機功能驗證，確保 BIOS、BMC、FPGA 與周邊裝置(NIC, RAID, NVMe, GPU)之相容性與穩定度。 2.OS與驅動程式驗證： 驗證主流作業系統(Ubuntu, RedHat, Windows Server)在不同Kernel版本下的驅動程式相容性，並維護Driver List Baseline。 3.問題除錯與分析： -針對測試中發生的System Hang、Crash、Kernel Panic進行第一線除錯。 -利用Log分析工具(dmesg, SEL, SOL, UART log)釐清問題根源(HW/FW/OS Issue)。 4.Bug追蹤與協作： 撰寫精確的Issue Report，協助RD複製問題並驗證解決方案。 5.測試環境維護： 架設並維護PXE Server、Console Redirect等測試基礎設施。

1.Lead Server System / FATP NPI projects, including feasibility analysis and evaluation of layout, capacity, process, PFMEA, DFX, equipment, fixtures, and automation. 2.Own system and mechanical integration, including BOM validation, cable routing, and system-level design reviews. 3.Execute and validate server system builds to ensure design for manufacturing and mass production readiness. 4.Set up, optimize, and ramp System assembly lines for NPI and mass production. 5.Develop SOPs and standard documentation, and conduct training for production line operators. 6.Lead system-level issue analysis, verification, troubleshooting, and corrective actions during NPI and mass production. 7.Collaborate with Production and Quality teams to improve assembly yield, efficiency, and product reliability. 8.Validate and implement ECN/ECR for hardware and system-related changes. 9.Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency, quality, and cost performance.

SMT (PCBA) + System/FATP 1. Automated equipment and fixture development (PLC, robot arm, programming...etc), feasibility analysis and evaluation (layout, capacity, process, PFMEA, DFX, equipment, fixtures, automation...etc) 2. Automation line set up and bring up on time in order to fulfill milestone schedule. 3. Ensure all automation related equipments operates as expected, monitor equipment performance, and achieve MFG OEE 4. Assist new automated equipment to be introduced into production. 5. Preventive maintenance and overhaul, formulate and implement preventive maintenance plans to reduce equipment failures and downtime. 6. Equipment upgrades and modifications, evaluate equipment performance 7. Team management, work shifts, and ensuring resources to support production goals 8. Prepare and manage automation equipment maintenance and repair budgets 9. Analyze maintenance and repair costs to save costs and improve efficiency 10. Safety and compliance, ensure that automation equipment operation and maintenance comply with safety standards and specifications to prevent accidents. 11. System/FATP Material: PCB, EE, ME parts 1. Supplier Assessment: Evaluate and qualify new suppliers by conducting audits, assessing their quality systems, and verifying compliance with standards. 2. Supplier Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze supplier performance, identify trends, and develop action plans to address quality issues. 3. Root Cause Analysis: Work with suppliers to perform root cause analysis for defects or non-conforming materials and ensure implementation of corrective and preventive actions. 4. Supplier Development: Support suppliers in implementing quality improvement initiatives to ensure consistent and high-quality deliverables. 5. Collaboration with Internal Teams: Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and production teams to ensure supplier quality aligns with company requirements and standards. 6. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of supplier performance, audits, corrective actions, and quality documentation. 7. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure supplier materials and processes comply with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements. 8. Performs other related duties as assigned.

1. System Implementation & Configuration: a) Deploy and configure MES solutions to meet manufacturing and process requirements. b) Ensure integration with ERP, PLC, and other factory systems. 2. Process Mapping & Digitization: a) Map production processes and translate them into digital workflows. b) Enable paperless production tracking and traceability. 3. Real-Time Monitoring & Data Collection: a) Ensure MES captures production data accurately (e.g., yield, downtime, WIP). b) Support dashboards and KPIs for operations visibility. 4. Support Production & Troubleshooting: a) Provide frontline support for MES issues on the production floor. b) Troubleshoot data, system, and interface errors. 5.
